Two things you can count on: 1 - August in Texas is always hot. 2 - Ernesto is great coffee. Always

I had the privilege to get to smell the raw beans for Ernesto. As I pondered how to describe it, the only word I could come up with was "complex". Sitting here drinking a fresh hot cup, I still believe this is the most complex coffee I've tasted on the initial sip. It starts with a strong yet dark grape/raisin taste combined with toasty middle notes and a smooth finish. In the description you will see "morning rain", reflecting the bright, complex flavor that rather defies explanation.
I usually don't like "fruity" coffee, which is why I stick with the dark and medium flavors. However, the raisin taste is greatly complemented by the dark roast. This would be a great evening coffee while sitting on the porch watching the sun go down. (She says as she drinks it in the morning.) If you want something different but wonderful, give Ernesto a try.
